Educational Qualification

Graduate Apprentice:

  • Mechanical  –   B.E / B Tech (Mechanical) 
  • Electrical     –    B.E / B Tech (Electrical) or (Electrical &Electronics) 
  • Civil            –    B.E / B Tech (Civil) 
  • Chemical     –    B.E /B Tech (Chemical) 

Technician Apprentice:

  • Mechanical  –   Diploma in Mechanical Engr 
  • Electrical     –    Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engr 
  • Civil            –    Diploma in Civil Engr.  

Trade Apprentices:

  • Lab-Asst. (Chemical Plant) – B.Sc. Chemistry) or Ex- ITI Lab. Asst. (Chemical plant) 
  • Executive-HR                      – MBA (HRM)/ MA (IR & PM) Or equivalent qualifications
  • Executive – Marketing        – MBA (Marketing)/ PG Diploma in Marketing Management.
  • Executive – Computer Science   – MCA (full-time Course).
  • Executive- Finance & Accounts – CA/ ICWA/ MFC/ MBA (Finance & Accounts) /PG Diploma in Financial Management.
  • AOCP  –  ITI (AOCP) or BSC (with PCM or PCB).

Salary Details

The rate of stipend for Apprentices is prescribed under the Apprenticeships Rules, 1992 and notified by the Government from time to time.

Selection Procedure

  • Candidates who fulfill the qualifications w.r.t. Educational qualification, marks, age, etc Trainees will be engaged only on the basis of a merit list based on the marks obtained in the specified qualification if found “medically fit” by the Medical Office of IREL (India) Ltd.
  • Wherever there is a tie, higher marks will be taken for the particular educational qualification and if both come in a tie, seniority in date of birth will be taken.

  • Interested eligible candidates should register themselves on the portal of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship at http://www.apprenticeshipindia.org  for Trade http://www.mhrdnats.gov.in for Graduate/ Technician Apprentices before applying.
  • Applications will not be accepted without registration on the above-mentioned websites.
  • The applicants can apply for the Trade apprenticeship through Establishment Registration No. E0421210003.
  • The applicants can apply for Graduate/Technician apprentice through the Establishment Registration No. EORGNC000001. 
  • However, submission of a hard copy of the application is necessary for screening/ selection.
  • The application should be submitted in the proforma given in this advertisement, preferably written on A-4 size paper. 
  • 10th Pass/Matriculation Certificate, 10th Mark Sheet,/Birth Certificate issued by concerned Education Board/Concerned Authority as proof of date of birth. No other document will be accepted for date of birth verification.
  • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/Disability Certificates in the prescribed format issued by competent authority for reserved category candidates. Non-OBC creamy layer status should be valid and the OBC certificate issued by a competent authority should be recent.
  • Income and asset certificates are issued by the competent authority of EWS candidates.
  • Semester-wise/year-wise mark sheets and pass certificate in the respective department. Documentary Evidence for Land Affected Category applicants.
  • Nativity certificate for people belonging to outlying villages within a 10 km radius of IREL, OSCOM unit, and Aadhaar Card.
